Think of the world’s top film award. This espresso coffee machine is a real “performance”. Press the key and…camera, action: a perfect cup of coffee. Everything about this machine is special, starting with the professional filter holder. That means all the other parts are professional too. Oscar: the leading actor in your coffee shop or in your home.

Even without dialing my grinder in for the first shot, it came out so much better than what I have produced in the entire cycle of my previous machine.
The Oscar is more than capable of producing the occasional 'God' shots of espresso because of its quality internals and grouphead technology. With the exception of the plastic casing, it is truly a commercial grade machine. And for the price, I'd say that the plastic casing and hot water spigot is a very justifiable sacrifice.

The machine work like charm as claimed by the excellent reviews it get on the internet. I can make a decent cup of coffee out of the box.
I got my Oscar delivered on time and I am impressed by the service given by The Cuppa Team. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Absolutely awesome machine, very forgiving in terms of learning curve and adjustments. I use this with an Isomac grinder. You can't get a cheaper HX type espresso machine on the market, and they sell like hotcakes in the KL area whenever a vendor stocks it up.
To other owners; picked up this tip from the internet. Remember to flush the steam wand prior to the 1st shot every time you start the machine up from cold. The pressure needs to equalize in the machine initially.

If you are looking for a machine capable of producing great espressos and with the steam power to create creamy lattes for a small party, look no further as this is the best bang for the buck for a HX machine!
Don't be fooled by the plastic exterior as the interiors are built with great quality. The 4-hole steam tip with it's substantial steaming power may be tricky for frothing small amount of milk. With enough practice, you will be able to get decent microfoam in seconds.
