Nuova Simonelli is an Italian company with experience and tradition going back many years. It has been making espresso machines since 1936. 

In 2008, Nuova Simonelli's Aurelia was selected as the official World Barrista Championship (WBC) espresso machine.  From 2009 to 2011, Nuova Simonelli continues to be the official espresso machine for WBC.
